Renault Zoe Lease Deals

The Renault Zoe was one of the first popular ‘modern’ electric cars when it appeared in 2012 and constant updates have kept it at the head of the pack. Smart, efficient, and well-built, the Zoe is one of the best electric cars available to lease and it competes capably with combustion-engined small vehicles for practicality and driving fun. See our latest Renault Zoe leasing deals here at Vanarama.

Renault Zoe Top Features

Smart looks with a high-quality interior.

One of the longest driving ranges going for affordable electric cars.

An efficient regenerative braking system.

  • A similar size to the Renault Clio and other small cars, the Zoe has enough space for 4 adults in relative comfort, the 5th seat useful on the odd occasion. Both head- and legroom are good for a small car and children will have enough room in the back.

The boot space stands at 338 litres with the rear seats upright, which trumps electric versions of the Peugeot 208 and Vauxhall Corsa. Petrol and diesel Renault Clio models are roomier, but all-electric rivals such as the Honda E only offer half as much luggage space. Folding down the rear seats liberates an impressive 1225 litres of capacity.

  • One of the more efficient electric cars on sale, the Zoe comes with a choice of two motors depending on the trim. The 110hp R110 motor is good for between 239 and 245 miles of range on official economy tests, while the more powerful 135hp R135 can cover around 239 miles. All Zoes come with the same 52kWh lithium-ion battery.

These distances will vary with driving style, as well as traffic and weather conditions. Interior electrical power consumers, such as the air conditioning, can also have an impact on range, but the Zoe combats this with very good regenerative braking and pre-conditioning systems. An Eco mode limits engine performance and the strength of the air conditioning to maximise the available driving range.

The Renault Zoe Vs Competitors

The Renault Zoe is Europe’s best-selling electric car and faces many rivals from not only the supermini class, but also from the city car market.

Electric versions of the Peugeot 208 and Vauxhall Corsa offer the same size battery and have smaller ranges than the Renault, while the similar-sized MINI Electric hatchback has a more premium image but cannot travel anything like as far as the Zoe.

The strikingly designed Honda E has a very similar driving range to the MINI, but is smaller than the Zoe, as is the Fiat 500 Electric. Those looking for something larger can lease a Volkswagen ID.3, it's lower-spec versions compete on price and it offers more practicality.

If you're looking for something in the Renault family exclusively you can see how the Zoe matches up against the Clio in our head to head article.

When Will I Receive My Renault Zoe Car Lease?

When you receive your Renault Zoe will depend on the model you choose. As you’ll see on our deals listings, some models are listed as in stock, while others are available on factory order.

If your chosen vehicle is shown as being in stock, this means it’s available and in the UK. We’ll deliver this to you within seven to ten days of you being approved for your lease.

If your vehicle is a factory order, you’ll have to wait a little longer for your vehicle to arrive, as it needs to be manufactured and potentially shipped to the UK, depending on its location.

No matter which you choose, all of our vehicles are delivered free of charge. If you have any specific questions about your vehicle delivery, don’t hesitate to speak to our customer service team.

  • Fitted with a 52kWh battery, the Renault Zoe is available with a choice of two motors and has a quoted all-electric range of more than 200 miles. The 110hp R110 motor is good for up to 239-245 miles of range, the more powerful 135hp R135 motor travelling distances of around 239 miles according to official economy tests.

  • There are many ways to charge the Zoe and all will take different amounts of time. Connected to a 7kW home wall box, the Zoe can be charged from 0-100% in 9 hours and 25 minutes. On a 22kW public charge point, this decreases to 3 hours. Connect to a 50kW rapid charger and a 0-80% battery refill takes 1 hour and 10 minutes. However, 50kW charging is only available on Iconic and GT Line models.

  • The Renault Zoe has 338 litres of luggage space with the rear seats in place. When folded, 1225 litres of room is on offer. That’s more than the MINI Electric, Peugeot e-208 and Vauxhall Corsa-e, but less than the petrol or diesel versions of the Renault Clio.

  • There are three trim levels offered to drivers looking to lease a Zoe. Entry-level Play models offer all the basics and come with the smaller R110 motor, while Iconic versions come with more tech and luxury. Top-of-the-range GT Line models are even more generously stocked with kit.

  • The Zoe’s flat boot floor makes loading things easy and the compartments underneath it store the charging cables tidily. As well as having a boot as large as those found on superminis fitted with a combustion engine, the Zoe has plenty of cabin storage with pockets in all four doors. There are also compartments up front, including useful areas in front of and underneath the gear selector.

  • Pretty and smart looks, a choice of motor options and a longer range than most electric small cars are all factors which have contributed to making the Renault Zoe a popular lease deal choice. It’s more practical than its rivals, as well, and a quality interior offers even more appeal. Well equipped with a decent drive and range, the Zoe is one of the best electric cars available.

  • Vanarama will give you the best monthly price on your Renault Zoe leasing deal, and you’ll never be given any processing fees or hidden costs. We also have an excellent rating on TrustPilot, with our leasing experts on hand to help you through the process if you ever need any help.
