A 102hp 1.6-litre TDI with common rail direct injection, aerodynamic styling and advanced engineering measures are just some of the reasons why the new Volkswagen Caddy BlueMotion panel van is the most fuel efficient Caddy ever. The new Caddy, currently being shown at this week's Frankfurt Motor Show also features low rolling resistance tyres, an engine stop-start function and has had its ride height lowered by 27mm.
The BlueMotion which offers 62.8mpg will be available in a short wheelbase with four equipment versions including a panel van and kombi. With a 60 litre fuel tank offering a theoretical range of around 800 miles, it is sure to appeal to van drivers who put fuel efficiency at the top of their list.
