The blue oval motor manufacturer, Ford, has achieved its greatest share of the medium van market across the continent for over a decade. And it is the Transit range, which achieves a sale every four minutes that has helped the company achieve such an impressive slice of the market.
To be more precise the new Transit Custom has helped the upward turn of the sales figures. 8000 were sold in Britain alone and we at Vanarama can understand why. The Transit Custom is hard-working, economical and the driver could easily be forgiven for thinking they were driving a car, such is the refinement.
Ford's share of the medium van segment is more than double that of the nearest competitor at 31.7%, up 1.0% over last year and it continues to outsell its nearest rivals Volkswagen and Vauxhall.
