Pundits might be predicting a freeze on fuel duty for this weeks' budget, but with the cost of petrol and diesel already tipping the scales, Citroen has launched Stop & Start Technology for two more of its Relays, in a bid to help van drivers keep fuel bills down.
From May this year, the Citroen Relay 30 LIHI HDi130 Stop & Start 6-speed manual and the Citroen Relay 35 L3H2 HDi 130 Stop & Start six-speed manual, will be benefitting from this fuel-saving technology.
Drivers of the new Citroen Relay vans with Stop & Start technology will benefit from fuel economy gains of up to 2.2%. Their CO2 emissions will also be slashed by up to 5g/km.
We understand that Citroen will be releasing the full specifications and pricing details of the new Relay Stop & Start vans closer to their 'on sale' date in May.
Citroen already offers the Berlingo and Nemo vans with Stop & Start technology.
