More good news for the economy as Fiat Professional announces that it has increased its sales by more than 50% in the first half of this year, over the same period in 2012. This is a huge jump forward for Fiat which accredits the success to improvements to its existing ranges. The company launched the special edition Tecnico models to offer alongside the existing Fiorino, Cargo, Doblo and Ducato. The highly-competitive fuel consumption and CO2 emissions on the ranges has meant that they have been especially well received by customers.
With safety at the forefront of many van buyers' minds, Fiat Professional's decision to include ESP (electronic stability programme) as standard across the entire range of Ducato vans, chassis cabs, combis and minibuses has proved a wise one and increased its popularity even further.
Great fuel consumption also ranks highly on many van buyers 'must have' list. The The new Fiat Doblò vans offer a choice of engines - a 95 bhp petrol engine and two MultiJet diesels of 105 and 135 bhp. What's more, they come equipped with Start&Stop technology which automatically switches off the engine when you stop in traffic therefore saving on fuel consumption and emissions.
