Maserati Quattroporte Lease Deals

When you think of big luxury saloons, you think German. But there is another, more stylish way. The Maserati Quattroporte is Italy’s answer to the BMW 7 Series and Mercedes-Benz S-Class. It’s a big, plush, 4-door saloon car with a selection of smooth, powerful engines. Like a Mercedes, it’s packed with leather and comfy seats, and like a BMW it’s great to drive. But unlike those cars, it has a Maserati badge.

Great to drive.

  • The Quattroporte was built as a large luxury saloon and it’s certainly big. It’s 5.2 metres long and that shows inside. There’s plenty of space to relax in the rear and the headroom is also good. And there’s more than enough space in the front, where drivers will find plenty of head- and shoulder-room.

Further back, there’s a 530-litre boot, which is slightly larger than that of the BMW 7 Series. It’ll take a family’s holiday luggage with no problem whatsoever – so there’s no need to worry about shopping, school bags or even golf clubs. There’s enough space for pretty much anything you like, particularly as you can fold down the rear seats if needs be.

  • The Quattroporte’s petrol engines are designed to be smooth and powerful, rather than economical. The basic V6 is the most eco-friendly, but everything is relative. With economy of 23.7-25mpg, it won’t win prizes for environmentalism. In fact, it’s only marginally more economical than its more potent siblings, so there’s little to gain from choosing the cheaper option.

When it comes to company-car tax, the Quattroporte’s emissions put it firmly in the top rate – and that’s the case no matter which engine you pick. But that’s true for similarly powerful petrol versions of rivals from BMW and Mercedes. The difference is, they have the option of an eco-friendly plug-in hybrid.

Maserati Quattroporte Models Available To Lease

4 Door Saloon

Quattroporte literally means ‘4-door’ in Italian, so it’s no surprise your only option is a 4-door saloon.

Trim Levels

Entry-level Quattroportes still get plenty of standard equipment. Aside from 20-inch alloy wheels, you get a choice of wood trim or Piano Black dashboard inserts, as well as a touchscreen infotainment system. The GT model also comes with 2-zone climate control, satellite navigation and smartphone connectivity technology.

Trim levels available: GT, Modena, Trofeo.

Maserati Quattroporte Vs Competitors

The Quattroporte is up against 3 of the very best. The BMW 7 Series is a high-tech luxury limousine that’s great to drive, while the Mercedes-Benz S-Class is a comfy, luxurious way to travel. And the Audi A8 is a beautifully built, well-equipped big saloon. Then there’s the Porsche Panamera – a car with huge sporting intent but less of a living room feel – and the more passenger-orientated Lexus LS. Each has its own talents and strengths, but the Maserati offers something completely different. The Italian style and sporty feel put it closer to the Porsche than the others, but it isn’t just a car you want to look at and drive. It’s nice to be chauffeured, too.

  • The Italian brand is using more tried-and-tested tech from sister companies Jeep, Alfa Romeo and Fiat – and things are better than they were. But if you’re worried, all Quattroportes come with a solid manufacturer warranty as standard.

  • The Quattroporte’s 530-litre boot will be more than enough for most customers. It’s slightly larger than that of the BMW 7 Series and you can fold the back seats down to free up even more room. No need to worry about what you can or can’t carry, then.

  • You get a choice of 3 different models when you lease a Quattroporte. The GT is the ‘basic’ model that comes with everything you need, while the Modena gets more power and extra luxury. The Trofeo is the high-performance version with its potent V8 engine.

  • Yes, every version of the Quattroporte comes with parking sensors and a reversing camera.

  • With a big boot and plenty of rear space, you have to say the Quattroporte is a practical thing. However, with sumptuous Italian leather and thick carpets, just think before letting kids or animals loose in the back seats. But for adults, it’ll be a great way to travel.

  • Italian style, a sporty driving experience and bags of interior space have all contributed to the Quattroporte’s appeal. But the best bit is the subtle air of menace that makes this car, well, cool.
