Hi, I am currently employed and looking to start my own business mid February. My wife owns a children's nursery which will be funding my business until things take off. Would I be able to lease a van from you.

Hi Michael, thank you for leaving your question on the site. In regards to leasing a vehicle for your new business, it will all depend on which entity you have chosen to trade in when you start to trade. For example, if you have started to trade as a sole trader, the finance company will simply look at your personal credit history. However, if you have started to trade as a limited company, you will need to supply at least 3 months’ business bank statements for the finance company. As you would expect, the finance company need to know that your company is trading. Please feel free to give us a call on 01442 838195, if you would like to discuss this further. Alternatively, please let us know the best number to contact you on and a convenient time to call, and I will arrange for one of our van specialists to call you. Thank you. Kind regards, Richard Wells.
