Why Lease An Audi RS Q8?
Benefits Of An Audi RS Q8
Audi makes several large SUVs. The Q7 is the regular, 7-seat, premium family car, while the Q8 is more rakish and suave, and seats only 5. The RS Q8 is almost the same, but with a powerful engine and handling to rival a sports car. It’s a big family car with extra va va voom, for those who want that little bit extra but can’t give up a luxurious interior and space for the kids. Perfect for those that need space and speed. Either way, it’s a rival for other mega-SUVs like high-end Porsche Cayennes and the Lamborghini Urus, but it’s available for less and becomes more affordable with a leasing deal.High Quality Interiors With Impressive Tech
0-62mph In 3.8 Seconds
Unlike the 7-seat Q7, the more style-focused Q8 only seats 5 and the same is true in the RS model. But those 5 will have plenty of space – there’s loads of head- and legroom both front and back, and the rear seats slide forwards and backwards if you want extra space or a larger boot.
Said boot is also sizeable at 605 litres, and comes with a hands-free electric bootlid for ease of access. It’s bigger than an X6 M or a Cayenne, and gets even bigger if you fold the rear seats down. They collapse in a 40/20/40 split.
General storage isn’t bad, with a pair of cupholders under a closable flap, a big space under the central front armrest, and some large door pockets.
Keeping a 600hp large SUV on the road won’t be terribly cheap, but considering its size and performance the RS Q8 is actually pretty economical.
It’s got a mild-hybrid system and will deactivate several cylinders of the engine when they’re not required, all in a bid to save fuel. That said, an official fuel consumption figure of up to 21.2mpg is still low, and that’ll drop further if you use that acceleration regularly.

The Audi RS Q8 Vs Competitors
The RS Q8 will sprint from standstill to the benchmark 62mph in just 3.8 seconds, which is seriously fast for any type of car, let alone one this large. Top speed is limited to 155mph, but it could be much higher without the electronic reins.
It’s difficult to get reliability info on the RS Q8 – as it’s quite a niche car, it doesn’t specifically figure on independent dependability studies. Audi as a brand does, however, and it doesn’t have a particularly great reputation. It often finishes in the lower half of the manufacturer rankings, but so too do most of its luxurious rivals.
Yes it is, but it’s not for everyone. For a start, it’s at the more expensive end of the leasing market, and it’s very large – too large for some. The performance is really impressive, though. If you’re sold on a very large, very powerful SUV, then this is one to watch out for.
No. It does have a mild-hybrid system, which can capture kinetic energy when braking and coasting, and redeploy it under acceleration. But it’s a fuel-saving system – power comes from a 600hp V8 petrol engine.
If you want a fast Audi SUV, then the RS Q8 is as fast as they get. It’ll do the 0-62mph sprint in just 3.8 seconds.
