Which SEAT Models Can I Lease?
SEAT produces small and medium-sized city and family cars, estates, and SUVs, with a strong focus on quality infused with a dash of sportiness.
The smallest SEAT is the Ibiza, a VW Polo-sized hatchback. This five-door supermini has enough space and practicality for four adults. The fifth-generation model has also recently been updated, making it one of the most desirable models in a class that includes the Ford Fiesta, Toyota Yaris, and Honda Jazz.
Just about every SEAT is a family car but the Leon fits the definition of a ‘family vehicle’ the best. SEAT’s Golf equivalent, the Leon is a compact 5-door hatchback – an estate bodystyle is also available. You can also opt for the Leon in a plug-in hybrid format, which offers great mileage and performance. The Leon is also available as a Cupra model. Cupra was originally the more sporty label of SEAT, but is now it's own standalone brand.
The SUV range has grown in recent years and the current lines start off with the Arona, a compact crossover. The newest SUV on offer, the Arona is essentially a higher-riding SEAT Ibiza with slightly more passenger and cargo space.
The Ateca is one size larger and proportioned more like a traditional SUV – it offers added interior and luggage space for larger families. The Tarraco is SEAT’s SUV flagship and is available with a seven-seater configuration and plenty of luxurious features that make it a plusher choice than the other SUVs in the range.
Hybrid And Electric SEAT Lease Options
SEAT doesn't offer an all-electric option yet, but has several hybrid models available to lease.
The Leon e-Hybrid offers good space and can recharge the battery through regenerative braking, however, should be charged fully by plugging it into the mains. The petrol engine will only be used when it needs that extra boost of power, giving you flexibility with your range due to different fuel options.
SEAT’s plans for the future are ambitious – the company plans to release a number of hybrid and fully electric models in the coming years.
