Why Lease A SEAT Tarraco?
What’s The Cabin Like?
How Does It Drive?
The Tarraco is a big car, so there’s plenty of space inside. Tall adults will have no issue in the second row of seats, which slide back and forward for extra legroom if you need it. The 3rd row is best kept for children, but not too young as there are no Isofix child seat mounting points there. If you really need as much room as possible then there are more capacious rivals, such as the Kia Sorento and Skoda Kodiaq.
When the Tarraco’s in 5-seat formation, the boot is a very generous 700 litres in size and the 2nd row folds down flat in a 40/20/40 split. There are 2 uncovered spaces at each side, which could prove annoying if things fall down into them, but also can house smaller items without them rolling about. Further storage is provided by big door pockets, a cubby hole under the centre armrest and a pair of sizeable cupholders.
The Tarraco’s leasing costs tend to be a bit higher than some rivals, such as the Skoda Kodiaq, but comparable to others, like the Peugeot 5008. When it comes to fuel economy, you’ll get the best performance from 2-wheel-drive models. The 150hp diesel promises up to 52.3mpg and the equivalent petrol 41.5mpg. At the other end of the scale, the top petrol car, with 4-wheel drive, can only manage 32mpg. Some rivals offer plug-in hybrid models, which can reduce fuel consumption considerably.

The SEAT Tarraco Vs Competitors
Yes. It’s rare that a large SUV is both practical and fun to drive, but the Tarraco manages it.
The pair share some mechanical bits, but they’re not the same. The Kodiaq is a great all-rounder and has the edge in practicality, but the Tarraco’s the car to go for if you want fun behind the wheel.
It depends on your priorities. The Tarraco is more fun to drive and has a better-quality interior, but the Peugeot 5008 has the edge in visual pizazz and interior space.
Yes, all versions of the Tarraco except the SE have a wireless charging tray as standard.
Yes, 7 seats are standard on every Tarraco, but you can fold the 3rd row of seats flat if you’re not using them.
