Why Choose A Citroen C3 Aircross Lease?
Citroen C3 Aircross Benefits
Small on the outside, yet deceptively spacious inside, the Citroen C3 Aircross makes a great choice if you’re looking for a comfortable family car that’s compact enough to thread through city streets. Its eye-catching exterior and comfortable, well-equipped cabin give it a bit of the Gallic flair that characterised Citroen cars of old. And like them, it unashamedly prioritises comfort above all else, with soft suspension and low noise levels to bring a sense of calm to your journey.Inside The Cabin
How Does It Drive?
For a car that sits comfortably shorter than a Ford Focus hatchback, there’s an impressive amount of space inside the C3 Aircross. With the clever sliding rear seats positioned as far forward as they will go, its boot offers a class-leading 520 litres of storage capacity. That’s enough for 6 carry-on suitcases.
Slide those seats further back and there’s more legroom than you’d typically find in a car of this size, with enough space for most adults to get comfortable.
The flexibility in the seating arrangements doesn’t end there. The rear seats fold in a 60/40 split, but there’s also a ski hatch, which allows you to post long items through from the boot without folding the seats down. What’s more, the front passenger seat can be folded forwards to create an open space all the way from the rear hatch to the dashboard – perfect for longer items like flatpack furniture or Christmas trees.
There are no electric or hybrid options available yet for the C3 Aircross, but what you do get are small, efficient petrol and diesel engines. The 110hp petrol engine delivers 47.1mpg, while the 100hp diesel engine is capable of 58.8mpg.
The C3 Aircross’ CO2 figures deliver 136g/km from the 110hp petrol engine and 125g/km for the diesel engine.

The design of the C3 Aircross may be relatively new, but it uses well-proven components that Citroen has honed over many years, so reliability should be good. The brand finished a respectable 16th in the 2020 Reliability Survey from What Car?, beating the likes of Ford, SEAT and Volkswagen.
Lots. On paper, its 520-litre boot is the largest in the class. Others – notably the Ford Puma and Skoda Kamiq – offer an even greater level of practicality in real-world conditions, although the Citroen still compares favourably to most.
Citroen keeps things quite simple here with 3 main trim specs (C-Series, Shine and Shine Plus) and 3 engine options. Just bear in mind that there are a variety of additional interior options that will impact the look and feel of the car.
Yes. All versions have parking sensors. Top-spec Shine Plus models get a 180-degree reversing camera too.
The practicality of the C3 Aircross is one of its main strengths. Not only do you get a generously sized boot, but there are a number of clever features to help you make the most of the cabin space – such as the folding front passenger seat and the sliding rear bench.
