What Does A Ford Focus Lease Look Like With Vanarama?
Advantages of Leasing A Ford FocusIf you want to lease a family hatchback, you have to consider the Focus. It’s more exciting to drive than a Golf, and more interesting to look at. It might not be as spacious as some rivals, but it’s still roomy enough for all the family. It’s solidly built and the onboard technology is easy to use, while a range of efficient petrol and diesel engines, and a wide array of trim levels, should mean there’s a Focus leasing deal available to suit your needs. Find out what our car experts made of the most recent versions in our in-depth Ford Focus review.
Modern And Sporty Interior
Great Driving Performance
On the outside, the Focus is a normal size for a car in this class. And that goes for the inside, too. At 341 litres, the boot is slightly smaller than that of a Volkswagen Golf, but folding down the rear seats will free up a very respectable 1320 litres. If you’re worried about luggage space, go for the Estate model with its 575-litre boot. It’s just as good to drive as the 5-door, but it’s much roomier.
There’s also plenty of room for passengers in the cabin. Those in the front will have bags of space in which to stretch out, while the rear is as good as anything in the class. We’d say 4 adults can travel in genuine comfort, while children will have acres of room. Fitting 3 passengers across the rear bench will be slightly cramped, but that’s common with cars of this size.
The Focus comes with a range of efficient engines, most of which are 1.0-litre petrols and 1.5-litre diesels. The diesels are unbelievably efficient, returning 50- or 60mpg with ease. The petrols are understandably less frugal, but the addition of mild-hybrid technology means some will top 50mpg on the official economy test. That’s almost as good as the diesel engines.
If you want to lease a Focus as a company car, you face a choice between mild-hybrid petrol or 1.5-litre diesel power. The petrol engines offer more performance, but the diesels are more economical, reducing your company car tax bill. The differences are small, so make sure you do your research before deciding whether to lease a petrol or a diesel.

Ford Focus Trim Levels
The Ford Focus Vs Competitors
Ford has a reasonable reputation for reliability, so a Focus lease should be a safe bet. The previous-generation Focus was generally solid and the current model is expected to follow suit. You can rest assured all new Focus leases come with a 3-year warranty, so you’re covered for any eventuality.
The Ford Focus 5-Door has a 341-litre boot, while the Estate increases that space to 575 litres. Fold the rear seats down and those volumes grow to 1320 and 1620 litres respectively. In comparison, the Volkswagen Golf Hatchback’s boot measures 381 litres with the rear seats upright, although it only grows to 1237 litres with the rear seats folded down.
You can lease a Focus in 1 of a choice of 8 trim levels, which are split across 5 core ‘themes’. Things kick off with the basic Zetec Edition, then you can choose from the classy Titanium models, the sporty ST-Line versions or the more rugged Active models. At the top of the tree are the high-performance ST models, which all come fully loaded.
All versions of the Focus come with parking sensors as standard. The basic Zetec Edition comes with sensors at the front and rear, while the top-of-the-range, high-performance ST gets a rear-view camera as standard. To get a camera on less expensive models, specify the optional Convenience Pack.
The sublime handling, futuristic look and efficient engines have made Ford Focus leases very popular. With plenty of on-board tech and a reputation for quality, the Focus ticks lots of boxes for lots of people. It’s right up there with the best family hatchbacks you can lease.
