Lexus UX Lease Deals

The Lexus UX is the smallest SUV in the Lexus car line up. Designed to rival the DS 3 Crossback and other luxurious compact SUVs, the UX is undoubtedly a premium vehicle.

The cabin quality is good, and the car looks futuristic and stylish. But it’s set apart by its eco-friendly hybrid and electric powertrains, which cut running costs while also being good for the environment. Find your perfect Lexus UX lease deal here at Vanarama.

Lexus UX Top Features

Futuristic design.

Choice of eco- and wallet-friendly engines.

  • From the driving seat, the UX feels spacious and practical. There’s plenty of space to get comfortable, and you get a few cubby holes in which to hide your things. Further back, the rear seats are only really intended for children. Adults will fit in there, whereas kids will have more room to stretch out.

The boot is a respectable size, although it’s actually largest in the electric 300e model, which has 367 litres of storage. The hybrid 250h drops to 320 litres, while the 4-wheel-drive E-Four version of the same model has its boot space cut to 283 litres. Still, at the middle 320 litres, it’s more room than you’d find in a Ford Fiesta or a Vauxhall Corsa, but less than you get in a Volkswagen T-Roc or Volvo XC40.

  • The UX’s eco-friendly powertrains make it cheap to run. The standard 250h hybrid system will manage between 50.4- and 53.2mpg, while the E-Four all-wheel-drive version cuts that to 47mpg. That isn’t bad for a car with a 2.0-litre petrol engine producing 184hp. Of course, the 300e is the real economy champion, with a fully electric powertrain that doesn’t burn a drop of fuel. It has a maximum range of up to 196 miles.

That powertrain is also the version of choice for company-car drivers. Thanks to government incentives, electric cars are taxed at single-figure rates, making them enormously cheap to run.

Lexus UX Models Available

UX Hybrid

The UX is a 5-door compact SUV with hybrid power as standard.

UX Electric

The 300e electric models swap the hybrid system for a fully electric powertrain, giving you an official range of almost 200 miles.

Trim Levels

UX UX Premium Sports Edition UX F Sport UX Takumi

The UX comes with 17-inch alloy wheels, push-button ‘keyless’ engine start and a 7-inch infotainment screen controlled by a laptop-style touchpad. The Apple CarPlay and Android Auto smartphone integration systems come as standard, along with LED headlights and a host of safety gadgets.

The Lexus UX Vs Competitors

The number of small SUVs is growing and the UX is up against some big hitters. Not only does it compete with the Mercedes-Benz GLA, Audi Q2 and BMW X1, but the Volvo XC40 and Jaguar E-PACE are also on its radar.

Other, less mainstream options include the DS 3 Crossback. And if you don’t care about the premium badge, consider the very competent Kia Niro EV, the Volkswagen T-Roc and the Peugeot 2008. The Skoda Kamiq is also well worth a look, as is the Ford Puma. The Citroen C3 Aircross is a quirkier but no less impressive alternative.

  • Lexus is a byword for reliability, so the UX is unlikely to cause any problems. The hybrid system is complex but well proven, while the 300e electric powertrain is much more simple. And if the worst should happen, there’s a 3-year warranty that can be extended with regular servicing at a Lexus dealer or service centre.

  • The standard UX 250h and electric 300e models have a 320- and 367-litre boot respectively. Either way, they’re on the small side for cars in this class, but it’s still more than you get in a Ford Fiesta. However, the 4-wheel-drive UX 250h cuts that space to 283 litres.

  • Leasing a UX gets you a choice of 4 core trim levels, ranging from the standard UX to the high-end Takumi. The F Sport models are the sporty options, while the Takumi is more luxurious.

  • Parking sensors are not included with the basic UX. However, more luxurious models come with front and rear parking sensors, as well as a reversing camera.

  • The UX is a stylish urban SUV. With an abundance of space in the front and the back, it’s perfectly practical for carrying both passengers and luggage.

  • Smart styling, Lexus’ reputation for quality and the efficient powertrains make the UX an appealing urban luxury SUV. The comfortable driving experience only sweetens the deal.
