Maserati Levante Lease Deals

If you’re after a super-stylish family car with a sports-car heritage, then Maserati’s luxury SUV – the Levante – is one to consider. Its glorious-sounding V8 engines, which have been co-developed with Ferrari, combine with a leather-lined cabin to create a luxury car which feels as chic and comfy as a pair of exquisitely crafted Italian loafers. The Levante is a refreshing alternative to the premium SUVs you get from German carmakers like BMW, Audi and Mercedes.

  • SUVs are all about practicality and the Levante scores quite well here. There’s more than enough head- and legroom in the front, and passengers can stretch out in the back. Other luxury SUVs are more generous with rear headroom, but the Levante’s back seats recline to make up for that.

The boot can hold 580 litres of luggage, which is usefully bigger than that of the Bentley Bentayga but down on some rivals. The rear seats fold 60/40, which allows a mix of people or luggage to be carried. An electric tailgate is a practical touch and comes in handy when your hands are full. Interior storage is taken care of by covered centre console compartments and door bins.

  • A luxury SUV with a petrol engine is never going to be as economical as one powered by diesel. The entry-level 3.0-litre V6 only manages a high of 26.4mpg on official economy tests and, as you’d expect, the super-powerful Trofeo V8 achieves even less at 20.5mpg. A hybrid Levante is coming later in 2021.

Models Available

Maserati Levante

All Levante models come in 5-door SUV form.

High Performance Models

Levante Trofeo

The Levante GTS offers a step up in performance when compared to the Levante S. But if you want true sports-car pace, the Trofeo will be the Levante you’ll lease. Meaning ‘Trophy’ in Italian, the Trofeo offers prize-winning performance from its 580hp V8 engine. A huge 729Nm of torque – the engine’s pulling power – helps the Levante GTS do 0-62mph in 4.1 seconds. The engine sounds thrilling as it does it, too. It should – it’s built by Ferrari.

Maserati Levante Vs Competitors

The Levante’s main rivals when it comes to SUV luxury are the Bentley Bentayga and the Porsche Cayenne. Unlike the Maserati, both the Bentley and the Porsche have the option of hybrid models, and similarly to the Levante, there are powerful V8-engined versions. The Cayenne also comes in a sportier  Coupe body style.

Other popular premium SUVs include the Audi Q8, BMW X7 and the Mercedes-Benz GLE. The Audi is a ‘coupe’ version of the Q7, but its looks don’t really live up to the billing. The BMW X7 is enormously practical with a 750-litre boot and also has the option of 7 seats. The Mercedes can carry less, but has an almost totally digital dashboard that looks fantastic.

If you want to lease an SUV that’s a little different, as well as iconic, there is the Mercedes-Benz G-Class, which overlaps with higher-specification Levantes. Bringing things back down to earth, the Range Rover Sport is less expensive to lease than the Levante.

  • Maserati doesn’t appear too often in reliability and customer satisfaction surveys, but the Levante shares parts with the Ghibli and Quattroporte and they have been on the roads for a few years now. A 3-year/unlimited mileage warranty is standard and can be optionally extended to 7 years.

  • There will be. Due to be released in 2021, a hybrid version of the Levante will use a 330hp 2.0-litre, 4-cylinder engine with hybrid technology to deliver emissions of 231-252g/km.

  • No. Earlier versions of the Levante had a 6-cylinder diesel engine, but, in the UK at least, Maserati has streamlined its engine range and withdrawn this model.

  • Yes! The high-performance Levante Trofeo’s V8 engine was co-developed with Ferrari and is actually built by the sports-car maker. The 430hp 6-cylinder engine in the Levante S was also co-developed with Ferrari.

  • It might be focused on performance but being an SUV, the Levante is practical too. Its 580-litre boot can hold more than the Bentley Bentayga but less than the Audi Q8 and Porsche Cayenne.

  • A wide range of lease deals are available for the Maserati Levante. There are 4 main trim specs – Levante, S, GTS and Trofeo. Within the Levante and Levante S trims, there are Granlusso and Gransport packs that offer more luxurious and sporty features.

  • Leasing a Maserati Levante with Vanarama is the smartest way to upgrade your car. Not only will you get the best price, guaranteed, there’s also no hidden fees. You can add on servicing and maintenance packages too, fully customising your deal to suit your needs.
