Fiat 500 Lease Deals

Introduced in 2007 and refreshed in 2016, the Fiat 500 hatchback is still as popular as ever thanks to its timeless design and the latest models. This Fiat has long been one of the coolest and most fashionable choices in the small city car segment. Its attractive retro-inspired looks have been subtly updated over the years and a range of newly-introduced personalisation options help make it further stand out from the crowd.

If you want to make the switch to an electric lease deal, there are great new models for you to choose from. Opt for an all-electric Fiat 500e lease or consider the mild-hybrid 500c. Both ensure fuel costs are low, making this a great choice for those on a tight budget.

Fiat 500 Top Features

Cutesy looks have aged well.

Mild-hybrid version offers decent economy.

Small dimensions make it perfect for the city.

  • The Fiat 500 hatchback offers decent space up front for two adults. If practicality is what you are after, cars like the Volkswagen up! and Toyota Aygo X are roomier inside and offer more storage space, too.

With the rear seats in place, the little Fiat can take 185 litres of luggage and folding them down increases this figure to 550 litres. Once again, rivals offer more but this is just about enough storage space for a big shopping trip or a weekend away for 2.

There are a few practical storage spaces up front, with two cupholders placed along the centre console. However, the glove box is tiny and the door bins won’t take anything much larger than a mobile phone. Rear-seat passengers get access to two more cupholders but that is their lot.

  • The current Fiat 500 range is offered with a 70hp 3-cylinder mild-hybrid petrol engine and it should do a claimed 57.6mpg in mixed driving, which puts it up there with some diesel cars. The all-electric Fiat 500e lease is also available, promising even more zip from either a 93- or 118hp electric motor, and up to __199 miles on a full battery charge.

Charging electric cars is significantly cheaper than fuelling traditional vehicles. The Fiat 500e has a battery capacity of 42 kWh – charging yours at home with an average electricity rate of 28p per kWh, will cost you around £12 with a mile range of 199 miles. This is much cheaper than filling other petrol or diesel vehicles with larger tank sizes making an electric Fiat 500 lease a smart decision.

To calculate how much it would cost to charge your electric vehicle, all you need to do is multiply the battery capacity by how much one kWh of electricity costs.

Fiat 500 Models And Trim Levels

500 Hatchback

The 3-door hatchback just about offers seating for four, as well as 185 litres of luggage space.

500C Cabriolet

The Cabriolet adds a retractable fabric roof section, making it a lot airier inside but not giving you quite as much open-air freedom as a traditional fully retracting convertible.

If you're not sure which to choose, we've compared the 500e to the petrol model, should you want to move to an all-electric vehicle.

High Performance Models

The Fiat 500 is offered with just one economy-focused, 70hp engine. The upcoming electric 500 will offer a bit more pace, but for real driving thrills, you’ll need to look to the Abarth range. These are essentially Fiat 500s with beefier suspension, larger wheels, and way more power. The Abarth 595 makes 180hp from its turbocharged 1.4-litre engine, which is plenty for a car this small, and the Abarth 695 is even more powerful.

Colours And Interiors

The 500 is available in eight stylish colours with various interior choices for those who like to customise, check out our Fiat 500 colour guide for details.

Trim Levels Available: Pop, Connect, Dolcevita, Dolcevita Plus, Hey Google, Sport

The base Pop trim is offered with LED daytime running lights, air conditioning, and steering wheel-mounted audio controls. It is worth looking one level higher at the Connect as it adds a 7-inch touchscreen, 15-inch alloys, rear parking sensors, and a sporty body kit.

Is There An Electric Fiat 500?

The all-electric Fiat 500e lease gives you access to the ideal town car, delivering 118hp of power with a choice of 24-kWh or 42-kWh batteries. Built from an entirely new platform, the all-electric version is bigger and can accommodate larger drivers more easily than the traditional mild-hybrid 500.

Compare Your Fiat 500 Lease

The basic Fiat 500 design has been around since 2007. It has undergone numerous updates during that time, but there’s no denying it remains a heart over head purchase when compared to much more modern alternatives like the Volkswagen Up or the Hyundai i10.

The closest rival is perhaps the pricier MINI, which has a similar range of personalisation options and the larger dimensions make it more suitable for longer trips. We've also compared the 500 with the Vauxhall Corsa, another wildly popular small car. Read our in-depth FIAT 500 review and see what our car experts thought of this popular city car.

Few rivals can offer the same level of elegance and customisation that this little style icon can.

  • If you value style over space, then the Fiat 500 is a great car. If you want a quiet motorway cruiser with plenty of luggage space, then you should keep looking.

  • You get 185 litres of space with the rear seats up and 550 litres with them folded down. A Volkswagen Up, in comparison, offers 250 litres and 951 litres respectively.

  • The 500 is Fiat's smallest car, with the chunkier 500x offering a more robust SUV styling and the larger Fiat Panda offering a taller ride height for a compact city car.

  • Few cars in recent memory have offered such a charming retro-inspired design and, despite its age, the Fiat 500 remains a competent little city car that stands out from the generally bland offerings in this segment.

  • We bring you the best Fiat 500 lease deals tailored specifically to your needs. We make getting a new car more affordable. Our customers have rated us as Excellent on Trustpilot and our dedicated team is available to help should you need any further information about leasing a Fiat 500.
