The Ford Ranger is big on power. The new 2.0-litre EcoBlue 157 kW (213 PS) diesel engine develops 500 Nm of torque. This makes it the ideal choice for carrying heavy loads and towing, while delivering strong fuel efficiency, up to 36.6 mpg (7.7 l/100km) combined. This diesel engines combine outstanding fuel efficiency with excellent driveability and refinement. Its state-of-the-art design helps to keep running costs down without compromising on payload or performance.

If you opt for the Ranger XL there are a number of body styles to choose from. With a Double Cab 4x4, Regular Chassis Cab 4x4, Super Cab 4x2 & 4x4 & Regular Cab 4x2, there should be a model for everyone. In the cab, the driver’s window is a one-shot model, while the front windows are electrically operated. The door mirrors are also electrically operated – & are heated for a quick getaway on winter mornings.
There are two XLT body styles to choose from - the Double Cab 4x4 & Super Cab 4x4. Under the bonnet there’s a 2.0-litre EcoBlue diesel engine, combined with a six-speed manual gearbox. As well as the features on the XL, the XLT also has a heated windscreen & good-looking 16-inch alloy wheels. To keep the driver comfortable on long drives, cruise control is a feature on the XLT, while you can keep in touch thanks to the Bluetooth hands-free phone facility, which also features USB connectivity & Voice Control System.
Take a step up from the XLT & choose the Limited,which is more advanced when it comes to technology. There are two body styles to choose from – the Double Cab 4x4 & the Super Cab 4x4. Plus there are two engine options - the 2.0-litre EcoBlue diesel engine, with automatic or six speed manual gearbox & the 3.2 Duratorq diesel engine, which is combined with a six-speed manual gearbox. On the outside, the Limited looks good with its 17in alloy wheels, its door mirrors are power-foldable & feature puddle lights. To make parking easier there are parking distance sensors, & the driver also benefits from a large, multi-function colour display.
The Ranger Wildtrak, which comes solely in the Double Cab 4x4 body style, goes even further when it comes to technology. You get all the great benefits of the Ford Ranger, such as the Duratorq diesel engine, which makes use of variable geometry turbochargers to gain increased power (as well as increased torque of 365Nm). There is also the choice of a 2.0-litre EcoBlue diesel engine or a 3.2-litre Duratorq diesel engine. There are 18-inch machined alloy wheels to look great, & the style continues with the body-colour front bumper, sports highlighting & Titanium front grille. Making reversing even easier is a rear-view camera, & finding your way is a breeze with the full-colour satnav. Luxurious touches include leather wrapped steering wheel & Ice Blue ambient lighting.
