Catering businesses now have more choice when selecting a new fridge van. Nissan has created the NV200 Fridge van in response to customer demands for a bespoke refrigerated vehicle. It will be capable of refrigerating to 0°C and still have room for 2.2m³ of load space.
The NV200 Fridge van also offers a useful overnight standby feature, with the vehicle able to be plugged into a 230V socket to ensure the contents are kept cold, handy for loading up the night before an early start. There is also a temperature indicator and control unit in the cab.
The only external difference from the standard NV200 is a slight protrusion on the top of the vehicle, where the compact cooling unit is fitted. The interior of the van has been lined with an insulated cell, which comprises of molded polyester-polyurethane panels to provide high-thermal efficiency. The standard three-year Nissan warranty covers both the insulated cell and the cooling unit, so peace of mind is guaranteed. With only 215kg added to the weight compared to the standard NV200, there is little difference to the payload performance.
The NV200 Fridge comes with Nissan's 1.5 litre dCi turbodiesel engine, which offers impressive fuel efficiency at 57.7mpg while producing just 129g of CO2 emissions.
The standard NV200 Fridge starts at £19,375. For further information on leasing deals and to look at our comprehensive range of fridge vans click here
