  • I'm looking in the next couple of months to lease a van as I have only just gone self-employed. I have a couple of questions. Can I trade in my car as a deposit? Being only just self-employed will this hamper any finance that I can get and I only think I personally have an ok credit rating How long does the process take from start to getting the van? Many thanks Jason kavanagh

Hello Jason, thanks for your question. In answer to your questions yes you can trade your car in with us and use the value offered towards your initial rental. We have a fully operational used vehicle department within our group who will be able to establish an evaluation for you. As a new start business, there are various options for you. We are associated with a number of different funders which all have different underwriting criteria’s, therefore, different options are available to you. Once the finance is approved and if the vehicle you have chosen is physically in stock will be able to have the vehicle delivered to you within 2-3 weeks. If the vehicle is not a stock vehicle then subject to the manufacture it may be classed as a factory order which could be anywhere from 8-16 weeks.  If you would like to discuss this in further detail, please feel free to contact any of our specialist direct on 01442 838193 so we can discuss the options in greater detail. Alternatively, you can drop me an email with your contact details and I’ll make sure one of my team give you a call. Kind regards, Mike Daly.
