Hi I'm looking at starting up market trading and I'm looking at a lwbHi roof transit on contract hire for 2 yrs but I haven't got any accounts to start with. I would have the deposit of approx. £1500 to put down shortly.

Our expert Gary answered... Hi Terry. There are a couple of things that will determine the best way to go. If you are setting up as a sole trader then the leasing company will base their decision to lend primarily on your personal credit score as there is no tradingHistory. If you have a strong personal creditHistory then the good news is that we would be able to lease you a van. If you're setting up as a Ltd company then things are a little more complicated but not impossible. The funder would look first at the limited company i.e. credit score, and financial performance. As you have just starting out, they would then look at your own personal credit file, if that's very strong then it would be possible to arrange a van lease deal BUT the likelihood is they would then want you to sign a personal guarantee. Which, bearing in mind a new limited company would have little or no net worth then that would be fair enough. This can be overcome however, if you have set up a limited company and introduced a lot of money as share capital, which goes to prove your commitment, have a strong business plan prepared a budget and even a cash flow projection. Hope that helps and feel free to give us a call if you'd like us to provide a quotation to help you with your plans. Good luck with the business. Andy

Hi there, I'm in the process of setting up a limited company along side a business partner. Neither of us have a driving license, was just wondering do you lease to limited companies if a named driver is on the payroll? If you do, would you be able to change over that named driver throughout the lease?

Our expert Richard answered... Hi Thomas, thank you for your question. If you are a limited company you are able to have a named driver as long as they are an employee for the business. It's often required to see proof of ID from directors, this could be a passport and proof of address if a driving licence is not available. The requirement from our lease companies would be to provide a letter on company headed paper, providing proof the named driver is an employee, this must be signed by a listed director on companies house. If you'd like to discuss this in further detail please call one of our specialists on 01442 838 195. Kind regards, Rob Cox.

I am considering leasing a medium sized van for my grounds maintenance company but we do about 25000 miles/yr. What implications does this have? Or would I be better to buy the vehicle outright than leasing? Steve

Our expert Gary answered... Hi Steve, thanks for your question. Your mileage should certainly be taken into account when you get a quote, but the good news if you choose a Finance Lease is that there aren't any strict mileage limits like there are for contract hire. When you speak to a member of our team, they will ask questions to understand your requirements and will give you a quote based on your approximate expected mileage to make sure your payments are realistic. The Optional Final Payment at the end of the Van Lease is based on a residual value of the vehicle determined by the finance company. The residual value is calculated using the contract term and approximate mileage, so it's important for this to be accurate. To answer your second question, we would expect the total repayments on a lease agreement to be significantly more competitive than purchasing outright. If you take a Van Lease through us, you will benefit from both the dealer discount and the substantial manufacturer support we negotiate directly with the manufacturers. This combined support is likely to be more than the dealer discount alone, which is what you would negotiate when buying outright. If you'd like to find out more about the sort of payment plan you might be looking at, feel free to give our team a call on 01442 820554. Thanks, Andy.

Hi, I am considering leasing a van for my business but ideally would like it to have company details /branding on exterior. Can you tell me what the restrictions are with this. Thank you.

Our expert Rob answered... Hello Kim, thanks for your question. You can add your companies details and branding to the van. This is called sign writing. We recommend using the vinyl type as it is easier to remove. When you reach the end of your contract you will need to have it removed. If the vehicle is on a contract hire agreement this should be removed before returning the van to avoid a charge.  If you are going to wrap the vehicle, you will need to contact the finance company first. If you would like any further information please contact one of our specialists on 01442 838193. Kind regards, Rob Cox.

If I lease a van to be used as a Mobile Technician Workshop. Am I able to kit the inside of it out please? Am I also correct in thinking that as long as anything I have placed within it is removed before I return it, there should be no additional fees?

Our expert Rob answered... Hi Simon, thanks for your question. You are able to kit the van out inside like ply lining or racking. We can complete this for you before delivery either by adding the cost to your monthly rentals or additionally you can pay for the accessories up front as a one off payment. You also have the option to arrange the fitting yourself. If you are to arrange this we always recommend using a company that specialises in this field. If you have paid for the accessories separately you can remove from the van at the end of the contract. As long as there is no damage on the vehicle there will be not additional fees from the lease company. Thank you. Kind regards, Rob Cox.

Hi, just a few questions I would like you to answer. I'm looking at a Ford Transit Custom Limited SWB 125ps on a finance lease. The deposit is £1074 + VAT and £179 pm. How many years is this over? Also is there any mileage limit? Is there an age restriction and is this for business users only, I'm self employed would that be sufficient? Cheers.

Our expert Gary answered... Hi Robert, thanks for your questions. You need to be 18 or over to lease from us, and you count as a business user if you're self employed. The Ford Transit Custom Limited deal you mention is for a five year term. There are no mileage restrictions for finance lease contracts, but the deal you take will be calculated based on your expected mileage and the impact this will have on the residual value of the vehicle at the end of the contract. If you went on to cover significantlyHigher mileage than you predict, this can result in negative equity at the end of the term. To avoid this, its important to base your quote on an accurate prediction of your mileage. Hope this helps.

Am I able to have a Glass Rack/Frail fitted to the outside of the van?

Our expert Richard answered... Hello Craig, thanks for your question. Racking your vehicle is absolutely fine. You would need to call the finance company to let them know, but racking is very common so I shouldn't expect this to be a problem. Kind regards, Richard Wells.

Hi, if I have a van on Personal contract hire (PCH) and plan to keep it at the end of the agreement can I make changes to it like fitting a bed inside and attaching things to the sides?

Our expert Richard answered... Hi Ben, thanks for your question. On any type of contract hire, whether its personal or business, you would need to hand the vehicle back to the lease company at the end of the agreement. However it is possible to fit accessories onto a vehicle and add the additional cost to your rentals or pay outright before delivery. If you have already taken delivery of the vehicle and want to add accessories this can be done but we recommend using an approved registered Dealer. As the vehicle is being returned to the lease company at the end of the agreement we recommend speaking to the lease company. If you have any further queries or want to discuss this in detail, please call one of our specialists on 01442 838 195. Kind regards, Rob Cox.

Do you allow customers to cover a leased van in a wrap with business branding?

If I get a van on businessHire/lease can I fit shelves at the back without any financial penalties? Please explain to me. Secondly, my yearly mileage is up to 30,000 miles is it possible to get one without extra charges?

This can be included in your monthly payments and therefore spread out across the term of your contract. Kind regards, Richard Wells, Account Manager

Can I put a tracker on my leased van?

Our expert Rob answered... Hi Jez, thanks for your question. Yes you can fit a tracker to your leased van. You can either include this option in your lease agreement and spread the cost across the term of the agreement or alternatively you can pay as a one off payment. If you decided to add the tracker after you have taken delivery we would recommend you use a manufacturer approved business. Kind regards, Rob Cox.

Would you allow a customer to convert the van i.e. fit it out with grooming equipment?

Our expert Mike answered... Hi Karen, thanks for getting in touch. What type of contract you have the vehicle on will determine if you are able to carry out any type of conversion / modification. However as long as you make the lease company aware of what you are doing to the vehicle, again subject to the contract type, this should avoid any unexpected charges. If you would like to discuss this in further detail, please feel free to contact one of our specialists direct on 01442 838195. Kind regards, Mike Daly.

I am very interested in purchasing a new vehicle. What I'd like to know is once I fill out the finance form, is the initial 1st payment and service fee paid at the end (on submission) of the form, or when does that get paid? Also, when would the monthly instalments begin to be debited from my account?

Our expert Rob answered... Hi Kenneth, thanks for your enquiry. On all our orders we will require a £500 Vehicle Reservation Fee to secure and order the vehicle. This is usually paid once the finance has been approved with our funder. The vehicle will be secured and ordered with our dealer. Once you have signed finance documents and taken delivery of the new vehicle, we will refund your £500 Vehicle Reservation Fee within 2- 3 working days. The initial rental will be taken by direct debit usually within 10 -14 days of taking delivery of your new vehicle. Some of our funders require a small admin fee usually around £165 this can be taken before delivery or at the same time as your initial rental depending on the finance provider.Thank you,Rob Cox

We are a limited company of 18 months duration. We have suffered badly in the purchase of a vehicle that is going through litigation at the moment. We would consider a large van, but not a Ford. Can we have our own logo put to the vehicle and fit it out inside to accommodate tools etc? What are the implications of this when and if we return the van? I presume all repairs and servicing are covered and that we enter into a contract with you? Could you give me the best option for the company.

Our expert Mike answered... Hi Maurice, thank you very much for leaving your question on our website. You are able to have your vehicle sign written and also fitted out in the load area for tools. However, the implications at the end of the contract will depend on the type of contract you choose to take. Maintenance can be covered on certain contracts but again, not all. The maintenance package will cover you for all service cost, any maintenance required within the service and also tyres. If you can please let us know what is the best contact number for you and also when would be a convenient time and one of our specialists can contact you direct to discuss the options available in greater detail. Many thanks again for leaving us your question. Kind regards, Mike Daly.

Can I have the van sign written? Can I ply line and shelve the van? Regards Tom (Tom Plumb) Hereford

Our expert Gary answered... Hi Tom, No problem with sign writing a van on a van leasing deal. It would have to be vinyl graphics that could be taken off after the end of the lease and if you were using contract hire. You would have to take the graphics off prior to returning the vehicle. Same goes with the racking, that would have to be removed if you were handing it back. As for the ply, we recommend that you always have ply lining fitted whatever type of leasing you do, so that the load area is protected. That would stay in the van, whatever happens at the end of the lease period. Hope that helps

We are looking at leasing a medium sized van however we would look at adding shelving / tacking in the rear of the van and additional locks on the rear / sides doors. Is this allowed within the lease agreement or would it go down as damage to the vehicle?

Our expert Richard answered... Hi Karl, both will be fine, as long as the racking is only drilled into the ply lining and the additional locks are left on the van when it is handed back there will be no charge by the finance company. Kind regards, Richard Wells. View our leasing deals on new medium vans.

Can I have the van ply-boarded and shelving added and does this need to be removed at the end of the contract? Additionally do you do a lease/purchase scheme?

Our expert Rob answered... Hello, thanks for your question. We can ply-line the back of the van in fact we recommend that everyone has ply-lining fitted to their new van on a lease agreement. We can also have shelving fitted to your vehicle prior to delivery for you. The cost of this can be built in to your contract or alternatively you can pay for this separately if you wish. If you chose a contract hire agreement and added the cost of the shelving and/or ply to your lease the vehicle would be expected to be returned with these in the van and the end of the contract. However; if you decided on a purchase agreement, you could sell the vehicle at the end with or without the shelving in. If you'd like to discuss this further or get a tailored quote, please call one of our specialists on 01442 838 195. Thank you, Rob Cox.

Interested in crew van. What is the difference in leasing and contract hire? I also want to put signs on Van. End of term can I return van with signs on or need to remove? And if I remove will it be acceptable because it might leave marks or shading on colour. Regards

Our expert Gary answered... Hi Farrukh, thanks for getting in touch. One of the main considerations when you're comparing Finance Lease and contract hire is whether or not ownership of the vehicle is important to you. A contract hire offers you use of a van for a fixed period and it is handed back to the finance company at the end of the contract, so you don't need to worry about disposing of the van or its value depreciating. You can also choose to add a maintenance package to the contract, making it an even more comprehensive and fixed price solution. If building up equity is important to you, Finance Lease offers the chance to build equity in the van over two to five years, and does not involve strict damage or mileage penalties. It's difficult to know the best option for you without knowing more about your circumstances, but our team will be happy to help if you want to give them a call. To answer your second question, there's no problem with sign writing on a van leasing deal. We recommend vinyl graphics so they can be easily removed - if you were using contract hire, the signs would need to be taken off before you return the van. Hope that helps, Andy.

I am purchasing my second van and once completed I am thinking of having some advertising done on the vans. Can you suggest some reputable companies and advice on if this is allowed? I will be doing the writing in white, but want to make sure that before my 2 years are finished I should be able to completely remove it and not cause any damage to the vehicle. Thanks Deven Changela

Our expert Mike answered... Hi Deven,Yes you can certainly sign write the van. It is recommend to use a vinyl type as it is easier to remove. If the vehicle is on a contract hire agreement this should be removed before returning the van to avoid a charge. If you have any further questions regarding sign writing please feel free to contact your account manager on 01442 838193.Kind regards,Mike Daly Team Leader

If you ply-line a contract hire vehicle for me, can I drill hole in it to put up shelves, paint it, waterproof floor and suchlike ? Do I then simply take it out at the end of the contract ? Thank you.

Our expert Richard answered... Hello, thank you for getting in touch. If the vehicle was delivered with ply lining it would need to be returned with it included. You are able to drill holes and paint the ply and waterproof the floor without a problem so you can simply leave it in the vehicle when it is collected. Thank you,Richard Wells Sales Manager

Hi guys, good morning. I'm looking at a large van i.e. Citroen Relay or similar size that I can stand up in. What we do is mobile dog grooming. Can I fit the van out inside with all my equipment i.e baths, grooming tables etc etc. and sign write the vehicle? At the end of the lease how does that vehicle have to be returned? Obviously I would remove all my equipment but do I need to remove all the inside van flooring for instance and all the sign writing? How does it all work please? And do you supply them with a full maintenance and for what period? At the end of that period, say 3 years for instance, can I get another new van and just continue? Thanks, Kev

Our expert Gary answered... Hi Kevin, thanks for your question. Yes, the van can be fitted with all of the equipment you need for your dog grooming business, and you can definitely sign write it (we recommend using vinyl sign writing as this can be easily removed at the end of the contract). If you were going to be choosing a contract hire agreement the vehicle needs to be returned in line with the Fair Wear and Tear guidelines of the finance company. We can definitely include full maintenance on contract hire. The periods of the lease is 2, 3, 4 or 5 years, and at the end of the term we can arrange for your old van to be collected and a new one delivered, we will contact you to arrange another fantastic deal. Kind regards, Dominic Tutton, Senior Account Manager

Do your vans come with ply lining or is this an additional option? If so how much would this be on a small van (Ford Connect) and also a larger van (transit MWBHigh top) If this is not something you offer and we have our vans professionally ply lined, is there any charge/depreciation at the end of the lease because we have altered the van?

Our expert Richard answered... Hi Becky, all of our vans have ply lining fitted as standard. Kind regards, Richard Wells.

Hi, I have a vehicle ordered through Vanarama and wanted to know if I'm allowed to put shelving up on a contract hire lease?

Our expert Rob answered... Hi, thanks for your question. You can have shelving fitted to your vehicle. This could be fitted prior to delivery and either built in to your contract or alternatively you can pay for the shelving outright prior to delivery. If you have already taken delivery of the vehicle we recommend using a certified shelving fitter and to contact the lease company before you carry out any work on the vehicle. As shelving can be quite bespoke we would recommend taking this out before you return the vehicle on a contract hire.If you would like to discuss this in further detail, and get a tailored quote, please call one of our specialists on 01442 838 193 and they will be happy to help.Thank you Rob CoxStock Control Manager

Hi. I'm a carpenter and joiner. As part of my work I have to carry a large amount of tools, equipment and machinery about with me each day. I would need the van insulated, ply lined, with tacking and van vault bolted to the floor. Which finance package would best suit me needs if I where to modify the rear interior like this? Thanks

Our expert Richard answered... Hello Simon, thank you for getting in touch. If you are looking to lease the vehicle on a contract hire agreement you will be charged at the end of the term if you drill holes into the floor. With a finance lease agreement, it is up to you to sell the vehicle at the end of the contract you will not be charged by the finance company, however, you may not be able to sell the vehicle for as much. Kind regards, Richard Wells.

I would use the van as my main vehicle so could I have it lined for sound proofing to reduce the noise?

Our expert Mike answered... Hi, thanks for getting in touch. Prior to the vehicle being delivered we can have the rear of the vehicle ply lined for you. This would cover the floor of the load area and the panels on the sides of the load area. If you would like to discuss this in further detail, please feel free to contact any of our specialists direct on 01442 838 193.Kind regards,Mike Daly Team Leader

We are expanding and need another van. Can we still sign write it and you you have to have a named driver or can it be a pool van?

Our expert Andrew answered... Hi Stuart, thank you for your question. I can confirm you can sign write your vehicle, however please be advised you would need to remove this without causing any damage at the end of your contract so please check with the sign writing company about the products they use. We suggest using the vinyl type for easy removal. With reference to the vehicle needing a named driver or listed as a pool vehicle, you would need to advise your insurance company about this due to the potential number of people driving the vehicle. We would also make a note our side regarding this and will advise you if there is any additional information we require. We would welcome the opportunity to discuss your requirement for another van. Please let us know the best number to contact you on and we will get one of our specialists to call you straight away. Kind regards, Andrew Causer.

I would like to lease a van and use it as a car, not for business use. Is this something you can cater for i.e. would it be as simple as adding the VAT to the leasing figures? I would be looking for a Ford Transit Connect Limited with the more powerful engine. Thanks.

Our expert Richard answered... Hi Chris, thanks for your question. We can offer 2 different leasing options for personal. I have below written a brief description of both the terms we offer: Personal contract hire (PCH) is a perfect product for an individual who wants fixed cost motoring and is confident about the mileage and condition of the vehicle over a set period of time. It is an easy and cost effective way to fund vehicles and it enables you to control one of your biggest expenses. PCH is available with or without a maintenance package, which offers fixed cost motoring with noHidden extras. Personal contract hire is similar to Business contract hire. However, as an individual you will not be able to recover any VAT or take advantage of any tax allowances. Personal Contract Purchase (PCP) is fast becoming one of the most popular ways of financing the new vehicle of your choice, simply due to its flexibility. You choose the vehicle, the deposit, how long you want the contract to run for, and the mileage you intend to do. In return you get fixed cost motoring for the term of the contract. At the end of the contract you have a choice to either buy the vehicle outright for an agreed lump sum (the minimum guaranteed future value), part exchange the vehicle and use the equity you have built up as the deposit on another new vehicle, or hand the vehicle back to the lender and walk away without owing anybody anything (subject to the mileage and condition of the vehicle at this time). If you'd like to discuss this further please call on 01442 838 195. Alternatively, please let us know the best contact number for you and I will arrange for one of our specialists to call you. Kind regards, Richard Wells.

Hello. I'm running a cleaning company and was wondering if I'm leasing a van from you can I put advertisement on them ? Stickers, magnetic signs etc.Thanks.

Our expert Richard answered... Hi Gabriella, Thanks for your question. We would encourage you to have the van sign written, as the advertising could boost your business! Please use vinyl sign writing so that it can be easily removed at the end of your contract. We have some great offers, so if you did want to discuss this further please let us know the best number to contact you on and we can discuss your options. We will find the best option for you and your business. Thanks. Kind regards, Lucy Turner.

Hi, I'm looking to lease a van from you and I was just wondering if I wanted to put my alloy wheels on the van and also get the van remapped, would that be a problem? Thanks.

Our expert Gary answered... Hi Linford, Thanks for getting in touch. In answer to your question, you can change the look of your van by adding alloys, roof bars, tow bars and ply lining, to name a few accessories. However, you cannot add any accessories that are not the standard manufacturer's mechanical specification. The main reason being that by adding a remap it may invalidate your warranty. Vanarama can fit all accessories you wish to add, so please get in touch and we can discuss what you need.Kind regards,Tony Gordon, Senior Account Manager

Do you allow modifications to vehicles? Such as, split charging systems to allow leisure battery charging, sign writing, suspension upgrades?

Is it possible for me to have the van ply lined and racking installed if it was removed before the end of the term?

Our expert Richard answered... Hi Craig, yes that's correct if you choose a contract hire you will need to remove the ply and racking to avoid a charge, however, at the end of a finance lease agreement it is up to you to sell the van, so you can choose whether to sell the van with the ply and racking included or not. Thank you. Kind regards, Richard Wells.

If I lease a van and then use it as a camper, with removable fittings, bed, cooking facilities etc, would this affect the lease or insurance?

Our expert Richard answered... Hi Kevin, thank you for getting in touch. If all of the equipment you are fitting can be removed without damaging the vehicle before it is handed back to the finance company this would not be a problem, however I would advise informing your insurance company. Thank you, Richard Wells.

Hi, are you able to put personalised number plates on please? Thanks

Our expert Gary answered... Thank you for leaving your details on the website. To answer your question, it's possible to use your personalised plate and the finance company will put this onto the vehicle for you. Each finance company has a slightly different procedure and fee for this, so your Account Manager can talk you through the process once you know which finance company you're going with.

Hi, I was looking at the Ford Transit Custom features, are any vans fitted with an alarm or is this at an extra cost?

Our expert Rob answered... Hi Colin, thank you for your question. The Ford Transit Custom does come with a Thatcham Category 1 Alarm as standard on the Limited Specification. If you wanted to add an alarm to any of the other specifications this would be available as a factory option. Alternatively the quicker options for delivery would be for the dealer to fit the alarm on site before delivery, this could be paid in your rentals or as an upfront payment. If you'd like to discuss this further and get a tailored quote, please contact one of our specialists on 01442 838 195. Kind regards, Rob Cox.

Hi I'm due to get my van delivered on the 10th when can i put a private reg on it ? And how?

Our expert Rob answered... Hi,thanks for your question. You will be able to transfer your private plate once the finance company has set your agreement live on their finance system, which is usually 10-14 days after you have taken delivery. You will be able to contact the lease company and arrange applying your private plate as they are the legal holders of the registration document. They will provide you with all the paperwork required to swap your plate onto your new vehicle. Please be aware some of our lease companies may charge to apply the private plate on the vehicle. Kind regards, Rob Cox.

Hi I'm looking into leasing a van and I was wondering if I would be able to make the van into a food truck? Would I be better buying a van? Thanks for any information you can provide on this matter

Our expert Richard answered... Hi Scott, thanks for getting in touch. Either way we will still have options available for you. Please feel free to contact any of our specialist direct on 01442 838193 so we can discuss the options in greater detail. Can I have a private number plate on a finance lease vehicle?

Hi, I work for Mitre Prostar and have been tasked with looking into the possibilities of sourcing a van to allow us to attend grass roots football events in the UK. Firstly, I was wondering about the availability and range of vans on offer. I was secondly keen to understand about branding vans and if this was at all an option with leasing vans. Thanks, Simon

Our expert Gary answered... Hi Simon, we have a great selection of vans in stock at the moment. If the van is in stock delivery would be approximately 2 -3 weeks from order at the moment. If you require a vehicle a little more bespoke it may be a factory order which could take longer. If by branding your vehicle you mean sign writing this is not a problem as long as the sign writing does not damage the vehicle in any way. We do recommend you seek advice from the sign writing company you decide to use to make sure you use the correct materials - we recommend vinyl. At the end of the lease we recommend you remove the sign writing to avoid any charges from the lease company. If you have any further questions regarding this please don't hesitate to contact us. Kind regards, Rob Cox, Senior Account Manager

Are there vans with 5/6 seats?

Our expert Richard answered... Hi Paul, thank you for leaving a question on our site. The quick answer is yes! Most vans can be ordered as a double cab or "combi van" that have another row of seats behind the driver like a normal car. Our website has a button on the top of the webpage that says "crew" this will give you a list of our most popular options. Alternatively you can give one of the sales team a call on 01442 838 195 and they will be happy to help. Kind regards, Richard Wells.

I currently have a Citroen Dispatch bd04 Jxw on 134,000 miles. Would you part ex this van? I was looking at your special offers and like a van no bigger than the new Transit. My budget would be max £200 per month - what packages do you offer and how would I get finance on the vehicle? I am a self employed plasterer who sub contracts work. Thanks, Scott

Our expert Gary answered... Hi Scott. Thank you for getting in touch. Firstly we do offer a part exchange service for your current vehicle, we would just need to take a few details from you and then we could make you an offer. We have a few vehicles that we could offer you in that price range; the Citroen Dispatch, Peugeot Expert, Nissan NV200, Renault Trafic Sport or Ford Transit Custom. These are all in stock at the moment. To get the price you are looking for you would need to look at a term of 4 or 5 years. We tailor each quote to our customer's individual needs so we'll work hard to find the right deal for you. Kind regards, James

Consequently, we will always pay as much as we can for it.  Some other brokers will not even offer a part exchange service, and will advise you to sell privately. If you part exchange with us, you don't have to go through the hassle of advertising the vehicle for sale, or deal with time wasters trying to knock you down on price. The other great benefit with part exchanging with us, is that we can arrange collection of your old vehicle at the same time as we deliver your new vehicle.

Hi, would you be able to provide a van with a towbar?

Our expert Mike answered... Hi Gary, thank you for leaving your question on our website. We can certainly supply a vehicle to you with a tow bar fitted. There are two ways we can do this. Thanks again for your question Gary. Kind regards, Mike Daly.

Is it possible to lease a van without a tow bar then have one fitted at a later date? Thanks.

Our expert Richard answered... Hello, thank you for getting in touch. Yes, you can fit a Tow bar after delivery. I would advise fitting a genuine Original Equipment (OE) part. Some vehicles require a very specific type of tow bar to make sure they can safely carry the load. Kind regards, Richard Wells.

I have a drainage jetting unit which would require bolting down to the van floor. Would this be an issue? Cheers Paul

Our expert Richard answered... Hi Paul, thank you for getting in touch. If you are looking to lease the vehicle on a contract hire agreement you will be charged at the end of the term if you drill holes into the floor. With a finance lease agreement as it is up to you to sell the vehicle at the end of the contract you will not be charged by the finance company, however, you may not be able to sell the vehicle for as much. Kind regards, Richard Wells.

Hi, can the vans be sign written on? Regards

Our expert Gary answered... Hi Jeff, thanks for your question. You can sign write your van, yes. We recommend using the vinyl type of sign writing which can be easily removed at the end of your contract when you hand the van back or sell it on.

Can I have the van modified inside to accommodate a water fed pole window cleaning system?

Our expert Richard answered... Thanks for getting in touch. What type of contract you have on the vehicle will determine if you are able to carry out any type of conversion / modification. However as long as you make the lease company aware of what you are doing to the vehicle, again subject to the contract type, this should avoid any unexpected charges. If you would like to discuss this in further detail, please feel free to contact one of our specialists direct on 01442 838195. Kind regards, Richard Wells.
