Why Choose An Abarth?
Choosing an Abarth lease means you'll be behind the wheel of a compact, high powered driving machine. Abarth is well known for reworking cars from FIAT with visual and performance enhancements. The current Abarth range features two twists on the popular FIAT 500, the Abarth 595 and the Abarth 695. Founded in 1949, Abarth first became involved with manufacturer Fiat as its racing department in the early 70s, before it became a standalone carmaker in 2007.

Which Abarth Cars Can I Drive?
At Vanarama, you’ll find unbeatable lease deals on Abarth cars. In the past, the brand worked with a wide range of FIAT cars, but currently all of its cars are based on the FIAT 500, which is a retro-inspired small hatchback.
Abarth's 595 model is a relatively restrained performance version of the Fiat 500. The 1.4-litre engine makes 145hp, make the 595 hot hatch quite a lot faster than the 500, which has less than half the power.
The F595 model is a tribute to an Abarth race series in Italy, with more power at 165hp and 4 exhausts at the back, while the 595 Turismo ups the style. There are also limited-edition models for those that like exclusivity – such as the 595 Scorpioneoro, with black and gold detailing, and the 595 Monster Energy Yamaha, a tie-up with the MotoGP racing team of the same name.
If you would like to lease a pure performance model, the 595 Competizione has 180hp and styling inspired by racing cars both inside and out. The 595 Esseesse has the same power, matched with an extra-raspy Akrapovic exhaust for a more noticeable reaction to hitting the accelerator.
At the top of the Abarth range are its 695 models. Also based on the Fiat 500, these include the 695 70 Anniversario, made to celebrate Abarth’s 70th anniversary, with a big rear spoiler, special paint colours and a stylish body kit.
There are still some Abarth cars in convertible form, although the side pillars remain in place when you retract the fabric roof.
Hybrid And Electric Abarth Models
Although there are currently no hybrid or electric Abarth models available to lease, the manufacturer announced that by 2024 its range will be fully electric. The transition will begin with an all-electric model that’s expected as soon as next year – this will be based on the Fiat 500. By 2025, another Fiat-based Abarth model is expected.
