Why Lease The BMW 7 Series?
BMW introduced a new generation 7 Series in 1986, a car of many firsts for BMW. It was the first BMW to have anti-lock brakes, the first to have an on-board computer system and the first to sport a double-link front suspension setup. Over 40 years later, the 7 Series is now a sophisticated computer on wheels and the sheer definition of everything a luxury sports sedan should offer. Nearly every technological, engineering and performance trick up BMW's sleeve can be found in this car, making it one of the most sophisticated and advanced vehicles on the road today.
Models Available
The 7 Series is BMW’s flagship car and is only available in a saloon body style (including long wheelbase and limousine models). The 2020 7 Series has had a rather hefty makeover with a new huge grille 40% larger than the grille in the outgoing model. A raft of upgrades aims to bring the fight to more recently released or refreshed rivals. Look past the giant grille and you’ll find a revised infotainment system, an entirely digital instrument cluster (instead of analogue instrument dials) and improved semi-autonomous driving functionality.
Comparison
While the 7 Series has always been the ultimate halo car for BMW, it has continually played second fiddle to the Mercedes S-Class and lacked some of the high-style distinctiveness of the Lexus LS. But for the 2020 model year, BMW has been listening to its customers. Whatever you think of its new brash image, the 7 Series now sets itself apart from any other saloon car on the market, including its very own 5 Series. To really put on a show, BMW has made £23,000 worth of options available in the new 7 Series.
From The Manufacturer
“The all-new BMW 7 Series stands for an extraordinary presence, maximum performance and unique comfort. Its self-confidence is underlined by the impressive front with the characteristic kidney grille.”
