Why Lease A Tesla Model X?

How Does It Drive?
This is a big vehicle – its vast interior can seat up to 7. The party trick Falcon Wing rear doors fold up close to the bodywork, making access to the 3rd row easier than in other SUV-style competitors. Adults can also easily fit in the rear-most row, while each seat in the 2nd row is individually adjustable. A sliding front centre console, and cupholders both front and rear cater for the passengers.
Luggage space is great on the 5-seater but becomes a bit more restricted when a 3rd row is optioned. The 2nd row can only be folded in the 7-seater, but there’s above average space in any seating configuration. For comparison, total cargo space is more than you get in a BMW X7 and Volvo XC90, and is well in advance of that found in smaller EVs like the Jaguar I-PACE and Mercedes EQC.
The Tesla Model X is available in either a 2- or 3-motor layout. A range of between 340 and 360 miles is claimed, although those figures may vary based on the driving conditions.
Tesla’s impressive supercharger network makes it easy to plan longer trips, while the Model X’s 250kW fast charging capabilities make for quick stops when compatible charging stations are available. For the more commonly found 50kW charging points, you get around 70 miles of range for a 30-minute charge.

The Tesla Model X Vs Competitors
The Model X has gone through some teething issues with customers citing build quality issues as their biggest concern. Regular improvements should see this improve on newer models and every new Tesla comes with a 4-year/50,000-mile warranty. The drivetrain and battery are covered for a further 4 years.
There’s a total of 2577 litres of storage capacity available when the 2 rear rows of seats are folded down. This figure is comparable to other large SUVs like the Land Rover Discovery and BMW X7. The front boot offers some additional luggage space when the rear seats are upright.
Leasing the Tesla Model X requires you to choose between the Long Range or Plaid trims. Both offer well in excess 300 miles of range. The Plaid focuses on performance but visual changes are minimal. Both trims can be further upgraded through individually selectable options.
All models come with parking sensors, as well as a whole host of driver assists which can be upgraded even further.
The interior is spacious and there’s plenty of room for up to 7 occupants. The Falcon Wing doors at the rear fold up towards the body, making it easy to access the interior in tight parking spots. The boot is of a decent size, and there are plenty of cupholders and storage bins for the passengers.
The Tesla Model X is capable of out-accelerating many modern sports cars, including Ferraris, especially in top Plaid trim. Acceleration tails off at higher speeds, but few vehicles can match the Model X for responsiveness in real-world driving.
Eye-catching looks, impressive performance and more space than most SUVs are what make the Tesla Model X such a desirable leasing option. It’s instantly recognisable yet subtle enough to fulfil a variety of roles.
