Vanarama drives Fan TV to see Chelsea win FA Cup

Fans in a van watch Chelsea smash it…

Chelsea lifted the FA Cup trophy for the eighth time in 2018, and CFC FanTV's Sophie Rose and fellow presenters were there in style thanks to the Vanarama Fan Van driving Fan TV to the matches they want to see. Vanarama's Tom Roberts reports.

When the sun is shining and you're on your way to watch your team smash it and lift the FA Cup, what better way to get there than in a kitted-out van provided by Vanarama? Well, that's all part of the service with Vanarama's partnership with Ballstreet Network!

Vlogging from the final

That's what happened when Chelsea FC's Fan TV team drove the Vanarama Fan Van to Wembley Stadium to watch Manchester United and Chelsea compete for the silver wear – we all know how it ended, but Sophie Rose's vlog is well worth a watch to recapture the build-up and reactions in true Fan TV style – her reaction to the win is classic Fan TV. Check it out below:

What's great is that Fan TV is all about fan reactions…if you want to watch the match, watch the match, if you want to get in touch with fellow fans and hear their opinions…Fan TV is the way to go. Vanarama's Fan Van has just made it even easier for the YouTubers to get where then need to be.

The win in brief – what a match!

In nail-biting cup final style, it all came down to a penalty. Chelsea's Eden Hazard knocked the ball past Man U's goalkeeper to drive Blues fans into a frenzy in the 22nd minute of the match.

Although Chelsea were second best for much of the contest and being forced to defend their lead, the back three – Cesar Azpilicueta, captain Gary Cahill and man of the match Antonio Rudiger – held firm in the face of a furious red tide.

The win saw Chelsea gain another crown: they are now the only club to have won The FA Cup, the Women's FA Cup and The FA Youth Cup in the same season. What an achievement! And when the whistle blew on this match, there was one more heartfelt treat for the Blues as they were presented the trophy by Jackie Wilkins, wife of the late Ray Wilkins, Chelsea's former assistant manager.
