Citroen commercial vehicle drivers may get to their jobs faster after improvements to the TrafficMaster SmartNav system. Specified as standard on all Citroen Berlingo, Dispatch and Relay panel vans, the latest TrafficMaster SmartNav System now features a 5.0 inch screen with higher resolution for greater clarity. The launch of the larger screen also marks the instillation of the 80,000th TrafficMaster SmartNav system on one of Citroen's vans.
The larger screen has been introduced to provide even greater clarity for the TrafficMaster map display, as well as to improve ease of use of the system's many functions displayed across the bottom of the screen. The telematics package includes TrafficMaster SmartNav satellite navigation and Trackstar - a stolen vehicle tracking system which has assisted in recovering 90% of all Citroen light commercial vehicles stolen to date - 60% of these in under an hour.
According to Citroen - the system plays an important part in Citroën's continuing commitment to reduce the carbon footprint and raise the efficiency of its light commercial vehicle range.
