Take your business to the next level with advice from Vanarama's MD

Vanarama MD appears on new Sky TV show offering inspirational advice to SMEs

Fortune Hunter goes live on Tuesday 28th April 2015. Sky 192/Freesat 402 at 8pm. Sky 238 at 9pm.

Following the exponential growth of Vanarama, our Managing Director, Andy Alderson has been selected to provide top entrepreneurial insight on a new TV show, 'Fortune Hunter', due to be screened from 28th April.   Andy started our market leading leasing business just ten years ago with a staff of three.  It has now grown to become the go-to name for van leasing and pickup trucks, and employs over eighty staff.  We have an additional 54 regional representatives reaching every corner of the UK and last year enjoyed an impressive 157% growth on 2013.  No matter how high you have your sights set for growing your own business, if you have Sky TV, tune in at 8pm tomorrow for some free advice on how to shift up a gear.

Fortune Hunter is the brainchild of entrepreneur and author, Lyndon Woods and is dedicated to helping SMEs and potential business owners on their journey to success.  As well as offering a valuable insight on new business start-ups, Andy also speaks about what it takes to move your business to the next level.  He case studies the controversial – love it or hate it- Vanarama TV advertising campaign which has played an important part in expanding our target audience and therefore potential leads massively since its initial launch.

Other guests on the show include Gordon Merrylees, Head of Entrepreneurship for RBS and NatWest as well as Jim Duffy of Entrepreneurial Spark.  After ten years' experience successfully establishing Vanarama, Andy offers sound business tips during his appearance on the show.  He says, "Establishing a new business and building your name in a marketplace is definitely a learning curve for everybody.  One of the points I try and impress upon those starting out is that you just can't afford to stand still.  You must always assume there are people waiting to take business from you, it's vital to stand out and always try to be a little bit better than your competition."  Andy concludes, "By appearing on Fortune Hunter, and doing my best to advise those people just starting out on their business journey, I hope to be able to ease the process for them."
