7 out of 10 SMEs think it would be better for their business for Scotland to remain part of the UK.
Voting is now underway in Scotland's referendum on independence. Between 7am and 10pm today, eligible voters over the age of 16 will have the chance to answer 'Yes' or 'No' to the referendum question: 'Should Scotland be an independent country?'
As the campaigns for both sides have gained momentum, Vanarama wanted to find out how our customers feel about the referendum. Having seen Britain's van drivers through the recession several years ago, we know that many small business owners are cautious about any decision that could affect their business and the economy.
So what did they say? We surveyed our customer database and the result was overwhelmingly that Britain's SMEs want Scotland to stay part of the United Kingdom. 7 out of 10 people answered that, as a business owner, they think it's important for Scotland to remain part of the UK.
