The new Cabstar has a number of options to suit your business – you can choose from three wheelbases, three engines, single or double cabs and a chassis that can be converted in a number of ways. What’s not to like? You get the best cargo length in this class with the Cabstar, thanks to the cab-over-engine design. With a slimmer body than its rivals, and a tight turning circle, it’s easy to manoeuvre in and around tight streets and yards.
If you’re driving all day, you have to be comfortable, and the Cabstar offers a comfortable work place – and in this new Cabstar Nissan has given the driver more space, headroom, width and legroom. The windscreen is bigger too, offering better visibility, seats offer more support and the steering wheel is entirely adjustable.
Under the hood, new Euro compatible 2.5 Litre and 3.0 Litre engines offer more torque, more power and better economy.
Easy Hill Start means that you don’t have to keep putting on the parking brake when stop-start driving on hills – this prevents wear on the clutch and drivelines, offering better reliability and lower running costs.
Keeping you safe is still paramount, so the Cabstar has ABS and EBD for the best braking performance on twin rear wheel models – road holding and improved visibility add to the safety aspects, as does the reinforced cabin structure shock=absorbing front bumper offering car-like safety. Airbags and cabin doors fitted with anti-intrusion bars add to the protective features.
The double cab version has large doors and steps for easy access – and carries up to six people comfortably.
