The Kangoo Van is the most economical vehicle in its sector and the Kangoo Van ML 129dCi 85 won Best Green Van (Conventional Fuel), with an electric version being launched shortly this will only enhance Renaults already green credentials.
The van is available in two lengths with a loading area measuring 173cm by 121cm between the wheel arches. The payload is 650kg, but can extend to 890kg depending on the version you opt for – choose the New Kangoo Van Maxi, and interior load length expands by 40cm, and you can fit two Euro-pallets inside the van.
It’s designed to be comfortable and practical, and a number of storage compartments ensure you make use of every available space. Keep essential items in the central storage module, and A4 documents in the dash compartment. The overhead parcel shelf is perfect for storing bulkier items, while the glove box can accommodate a notebook laptop. The front seat is the biggest you’ll find in this class – so you’ll get plenty of elbowroom if you’re spending a lot of time driving. The adjustable driver’s seat and steering wheel help to create a far more comfortable driving experience, while door handles, controls and dash-mounted gear lever are all easy to reach. There are also a number of options available to make the ride even more comfortable and enjoyable – such as radio CD player with MP3 player, rear parking sensors and cruise control. And to help you find your way between jobs, a TomTom satnav is now integrated into ’+’ versions.
