The TT is a small sports car, so don’t expect to take the family on a long holiday in it. But for its size, it’s actually rather practical. There’s lots of room up front and the Coupe has 2 rear seats, although they’re best kept for small children. The boot is impressively large, if rather shallow, and the rear seats will fold down to carry larger items. The hatchback boot lid means it’s easy to load things in.
Space for the folding roof means the boot in the Roadster is smaller, although not by too much. You get 280 litres of space in the soft-top, rather than the Coupe’s 305 litres. There are no rear seats in the convertible.
Odds and ends can be stored in a large glovebox or a space ahead of the gearstick, which has a sliding cover to keep things out of sight. The door pockets are rather small, and there’s only 1 cupholder, however.
