The CR-V has never been short of interior space, with ample space for up to 5 adults inside. Even taller passengers in the rear will find a comfortable ride, and the centre hump is less noticeable than in some rivals – making the middle-rear seat much more usable. Small storage spaces dotted about offer room for odds and ends, including large door pockets and 4 cupholders. There are 4 USB slots, 2 in front and 2 in the rear on all but the base trim, with wireless phone charging also available. The CR-V is a very practical vehicle.
As for boot space, the CR-V has always offered plenty – although the hybrid powertrain has reduced this slightly, 497 litres is still plenty. This is still better than the Nissan Qashqai and hybrid variants of the Peugeot 3008, but it trails the Volkswagen Tiguan. Rear seats down, the boot space increases to 1,697 litres, which is up there with the best in class.
