Range Rover Evoque Lease Deals

The Evoque is, essentially, a compact Range Rover. Its aim is to recreate in miniature the style and driving comfort of Land Rover’s iconic luxury SUV, as well as its off-road ability, but at a lower monthly leasing price. That’s a big challenge, but Land Rover has managed to pull it off.

Range Rover Evoque Top Features

It’s a stylish luxury SUV, but in compact form

You can choose between petrol, diesel or plug-in hybrid power.

It’s a genuinely capable off-roader and drives well on-road too.

  • The Range Rover Evoque is roomy for its size, although if passenger and boot space are priorities then more spacious rivals are available. Those sitting up front will have no issues and a pair of adults won’t feel cramped in the back. The Evoque’s wide dimensions mean there’s more space for a third rear-seat passenger than in most rivals, although you get more legroom in a Volvo XC40.

The boot space isn’t as big as in a BMW X1 or Audi Q3 Sportback, but you can fold the rear seats down in a 40/20/40 split, which gives some flexibility for carrying larger items. There’s a good amount of storage in the cabin, including storage trays, a cubby hole under the front centre armrest, and 2 cupholders between the front seats.

  • According to official tests, you can get up to 43.6mpg from the D200 diesel and up to 31.5mpg from the P200 petrol. The front-wheel-drive, entry-level D165 diesel promises 46.3mpg.

That said, the P300e plug-in hybrid could keep petrol consumption to a minimum if you keep it charged and do mostly shorter journeys; trips of less than 30 miles should only use electrical power and it’s far cheaper to recharge the battery than it is to fill up with fuel.

Models Available

Unlike the first-generation Evoque, there’s no 3-door or convertible model available, so the five-door SUV is your only option. However, there are two styles to choose from, within which are the trim levels listed below. As well as the standard car, you can pick an Evoque R-Dynamic, which has a sportier look, courtesy of different alloy wheel designs and a more aggressive-looking bodykit.

High Performance Models

There are no specific high performance models of Evoque to lease, but if you want the quickest version, then the P300e plug-in hybrid is the one to go for. Its combined petrol engine and electric motor give a combined power output of 309 horsepower. That means a 0-60mph acceleration time of 6.1 seconds, which is comparable to a hot hatchback.

Colours And Interiors

The Evoque is available in 11 stylish colours with various interior choices for those who like to customise, check out our Range Rover Evoque colour guide for details.

Range Rover Evoque Vs Competitors

For style, prestige and comfort, leasing the Evoque is hard to beat, but it’s well worth checking out the excellent Volvo XC40.Audi’s Q3 Sportback is more involving to drive and offers a proper high-performance version in the form of the RS Q3. Jaguar’s recently overhauled E-Pace has some punch to it too. For driver engagement and fun, though, you could look at the BMW X2.Our car experts have also compared the Discovery Sport and Evoque for those who want something in the Land Rover family but can't decide.
  • Land Rover and Range Rover models are often highly regarded for their reliability and performance, allowing you to enjoy a stellar drive no matter what the condition of the road underneath is.

  • Land Rover promotes its boot space using different measurements than most competitors, but the Evoque has a large capacity on paper. Land Rover quotes 591 litres of space with the rear seats up, though it is actually closer to 472 in industry-standard; broadly the same as the Volvo XC40 and Lexus NX, but smaller than the BMW X1 and Audi Q3 Sportback.

  • You’ll need to decide on your preferred style of Range Rover Evoque – standard or R-Dynamic – and then choose your trim levels from there.

  • Yes, the Evoque has front and rear parking sensors on every model, as well as a 3D surround camera to help with manoeuvring.

  • There’s a good amount of passenger space in the Range Rover Evoque, with plenty of room for 4 adults; and 5 if you don’t mind a bit of a squeeze in the back. The boot is comparable in size to several rivals, but you can get other cars with larger luggage capacities.

  • Customers looking for lease deals on the Range Rover Evoque are likely to value sleek styling and a premium badge. They’ll also love the Range Rover’s heritage and its ability to excel off-road, even if most Evoques won’t ever take on challenging terrain; it’s nice to know that it can. The Evoque is also very comfortable and full of impressive technology.

  • Leasing an Evoque with Vanarama couldn’t be any easier. We’re rated excellent on Trustpilot for good reason, and our Price Promise* ensures that you get the lowest price guaranteed, with no unwanted hidden fees and extra protection against any unforeseen issues.
