The Jaguar F-Pace is a compact luxury midsize crossover SUV made by Jaguar Land Rover under their Jaguar marque, & was the first model to be built by Jaguar in the crossover SUV class.
While Jaguars still sell in relatively low numbers, the release of the F-Pace with its flashy appearance & sporty dynamics are a bid from the manufacturer to make its leaping logo more prominent in the marketplace.
First introduced in 2017, the F-Pace has recently been updated for 2020 & has returned ensuring it has fixed its previous shortcomings. While the diesel engine is gone this year, Android Auto & Apple CarPlay are now standard, providing an excellent alternative to the F-Pace's somewhat frustrating infotainment interface.
If you have a large family, a lot of luggage & like a high stance on the road, an SUV should be the right choice for you. But if you also want a premium badge, your choice becomes a lot more limited.
The F-Pace is a performance SUV that Jaguar hopes will offer drivers a unique combination of everyday practicality & distinctive sporting style. While it’s technically a compact SUV, it’s a little on the large side for its class, so rear legroom & boot space are generous.
The F-Pace’s main rivals include the Porsche Macan, BMW X5, & Mercedes-Benz GLC. Competitors may offer more comfort & better technology for the same money, but the Jaguar's driving experience continues to set it apart.
“The all-new Jaguar F-Pace is a performance crossover designed & engineered to offer the agility, responsiveness & refinement that all Jaguars are renowned for, together with unrivalled dynamics & everyday versatility.”
