Kia Sportage Leasing

The Kia Sportage is a stylish family crossover SUV that’s well built and offers great value for money. It’s by far Kia’s most popular car and for good reason – it’s spacious and dependable, and it feels pretty upmarket considering its price point. Now in its fourth generation, the latest version also runs on hybrid tech to reduce emissions. So if you’re after a practical and economical family SUV, this should definitely be on your list to lease.

Top 3 Features

Comfortable to drive with plenty of space inside.

Lower trim levels in particular offer good value.

Reliable and economical to run.

  • Though the Sportage is a spacious car overall, its capacity to carry luggage is good rather than great – providing an adequate but by no means mammoth 503 litres of boot space. Nonetheless, this figure can be increased to a very reasonable 1492 litres with the rear seats folded down. There is also a lipless boot opening, which means heavy items are more convenient to load than can be the case in some other SUVs.

There are no shortage of handy cubby holes around the cabin, with spacious front door bins, a spacious glovebox and front centre armrest. The front cupholders are wide and deep enough to hold any drink. And the rear door bins are just as big as the ones in the front – plus you’ll also get a folding armrest between the back seats with built-in cupholders.

  • The Sportage offers more good value in this department, with impressive mileage figures across the board. The most economical model in the range – the 2-wheel-drive 136hp mild-hybrid 1.6-litre diesel – returns 52.3mpg. And the most economical of the petrol models – the 2-wheel-drive 1.6-litre T-GDI – manages 34.9mpg. Upgrade to the 4-wheel drive and that number drops to 31.7mpg. But overall the figures are competitive when compared to other alternatives in the sector. As with all Kia cars, the Sportage also benefits from a reassuring 7-year warranty – the best in the industry.

  • The Sportage offers plenty of space inside the car as well as in the boot. The option for 4-wheel drive also means the Sportage is well equipped for those wishing to take on the winter weather, or more rural areas of the British countryside.
